|03/28/2015....... I will be heading to the Alliance Autosport shop this coming week to have my custom seat made in my #27 SRF. It will make me feel the car's handling even more than the stock seat. I am excited for this process and how having the seat will help in the races to come for the rest of the season. I am looking forward to the next race, at VIR, April 17-19. As always, we are looking for partners for individual races as well as the entire season. We are able customize any partnership package that best fits your wishes for involvement with QNM as well as Alliance Autosport. Please contact either Quinten, at 740-644-8636, firstname.lastname@example.org or Rick at 740-877-8228, email@example.com
03/22/2015....... Waking up to rain as predicted for the final race in this weekends SCCA Road Atlanta Majors race. The rain setup is going on the Alliance Autosports cars as we speak. Beginning the day in 27th overall, 16th in class. I am so excited to race today. Time to prove myself in the rain.
Absolutely incredible day of racing today for Quinten at the SCCA Road Atlanta Majors in the Alliance Autosport prepared #27 SRF. Began the rain filled race in 27th overall position, 16th in class. Drove up to 5th place in class before passing 3 drivers and moving into 2nd place. Quinten remained in second for several laps until a slight electrical issue caused by the rain moved him back to 4th where he finished for the day, 5th overall and 2nd fastest time in class. All in all could not be happier with the results today with the conditions. 2nd time in the SRF and first time at Road Atlanta. Great racing among many incredible drivers in the Majors Series. Congratulations to Scott Rettich for his 2nd place finish today. Next race will be at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in mid April. Looking forward to another new track and more time in the SRF. Once again many thanks to everyone from Alliance Autosport for a great car today and all weekend!! Scott, Suren, Al, Joe, Ron and Mr. & Mrs. Rettich.
03/21/2015....... After this mornings final and shortened qualifying session I took 3 more full seconds off my lap times while others times did not change. I am only 2 1/2 seconds off the leaders at this point. I am confident I will pick that up with the draft and more track time during the race this afternoon.
The SCCA Road Atlanta Majors race #1 is in the books. Although Quinten is a bit disappointed, the Alliance Autosport team is happy with what he has done for only the second time in the SRF, AND on a new track. Quinten began today's race 16th in class (of 23) and finished 12th, only 3/10's of a second from a potential 7th or 8th place finish. All and all a great day. Now setting our sights on tomorrow's race ( still calling for rain). Congratulations to Scott Rettich and Alliance Autosport for the win today and to all those drivers competing here this weekend!
03/20/2015....... No rain today for qualifying. I qualified 14t in class in todays qualifying sessions for Saturday's race. I am feeling very comfortable that I will be able to run up through the field tomorrow.
03/19/2015....... Had an incredible first practice this morning in the rain in my Alliance Autosport prepared #27 SRF. Pretty fast right off. 2nd fastest in class. We will be testing all day in the rain. I continued to shave time with each and every lap during the entire day. Feeling extremely confident for the Sunday's race which is predicted to be in the rain. Tomorrow will be a dry day so I will be learning an entire new track again tomorrow, which will help for Saturdays race in which they are calling for 0% chance of rain. Many thanks to the entire team, Scott, Al, Suren, Joe, Ron and Mr. & Mrs. Rettich for this opportunity I have been provided and the great car I have been given to drive this weekend. 03/18/2015....... We have arrived at Road Atlanta. A beautiful, sunny and balmy 62 degrees. Waiting on the arrival of the Alliance Autosport team this afternoon to set up and to register for tomorrows test day. I am so excited being at Road Atlanta for the first time to compete. We are pitted in the pro pits this weekend on this beautiful elevation and turn filled race circuit.
